Our formulas start with healthy Cannabis plants, grown on small farms, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. These plants thrive outside under the full spectrum of solar light. The sun energizes processes within the flowers to produce a robust suite of medicinal compounds.
Complete Spectrum Extraction.
Inspired by traditional herbalism, modern science and the work of Rick Simpson (a Canadian Cannabis activist) we use high proof cane alcohol (ethanol) to extract all the healing compounds available in the Cannabis flowers. Alcohol is a special solvent which collects cannabinoids and terpenes, as well as the lesser-known phenolic compounds (flavonoids, stilbenoids, lignans and more). The synergy between these parts is what makes a truly therapeutic experience.
Synergistic Formulation
After these compounds are extracted, they are concentrated into a thick amber oil by gently removing the alcohol with low heat and pressure. This concentrated cannabis oil is the heart of our formulas. We gently blend this potent concentrate with organic, cold-pressed, unrefined sesame oil to create our tinctures.
Cannflavin A and Cannflavin B (flavonoids found only in Cannabis) have been found to be 30 times more effective than aspirin in their anti-inflammatory and pain relieving action with additional anti-oxidant effects.

Stepping into the natural world.
My journey with plant medicine was inspired by an elder neighbor who, when I was eight years old, guided me to a patch of mugwort herb in order to help me treat a bout of poison oak. Learning that the world is full of medicinal plants which can help us prevent disease and heal our bodies shaped my perception of health and wellness. Growing up, I was shocked and confused by the countless pharma commercials which rattled off the numerous side effects a person could be subjected to if they chose the marketed medication. I saw my grandparents consuming these pills seemingly by the handful. I watched the list grow and grow while their health continued to decline.
Searching For a Cure
Through my teens and into adulthood, I learned about medicinal herbs in books and on the internet. I went to college for a degree in biology where I was most excited to learn about human physiology and organic chemistry. I attended classes at a local herb shop, and worked for a botanicals company, crafting artisanal skin care products with wildcrafted herbs. I discovered Cannabis medicine in 2010 during a search to find a cure for my father’s basal cell carcinoma. The extract I created from some home grown Cannabis flowers was so effective at clearing the basal cell that I decided to learn more about what this amazing plant can do. I soon found that there was little that this plant can not do. After studying the available research and published success stories I fell in love.

Since then, I have been creating what I call Complete Spectrum Cannabis Oil; sourcing specific strains for their unique therapeutic properties and cannabinoid ratios. As I witnessed countless miracles, my love for this plant and devotion to the medicine grew. Every person is different. Your metabolism, body weight, history of cannabis consumption, and even whether you have eaten recently will affect your tolerance to Cannabis. If you are new to Cannabis tinctures, you may want to start with less than the normal serving size of 0.5 mL. Begin with 0.25 mL and wait up to 5 – 10 hours to feel the totality of the effects before increasing your dose size and/or frequency.
For best absorption take tinctures between meals. 30 minutes before or 2 hours after eating.
